初中生英语学习动机减退影响因素模型的建构研究

摘要:

为了探索适合中国初中学生英语学习动机减退影响因素的结构模型,本研究采用"初中生英语学习动机减退调查问卷"对沈阳市、长春市和安徽省蒙城县三所不同类型初中的505名初一和初二学生进行了定量研究。探索性因子分析和验证性因子分析的研究结果发现,模型由教师、社会环境、学习环境和学习者四个因素及其相关的因子组成。本研究的突破在于提出了影响动机减退的社会环境因素,这在以往文献中未曾见到;此外,本研究为今后的相关研究提供了具有较高信度和效度的测量工具。

Abstract:

This current study employed "Junior High School Students' English Learning Demotivation Questionnaire" to explore the structure of Chinese junior high school students' demotivator model.The research data came from 505 students in three different types of junior high schools located in Shenyang, Changchun and Mengcheng County in Anhui Province.The final results of exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and confirmative factor analysis(CFA) indicated the model consisted of four components: teacher-related factors,social environment- related factors,learning environment-related factors and learner-related factors.Social environment-related factor,a contribution of this research,was never systematically studied in previous literature.This current research provided highly-reliable and valid measurement for future English learning demotivation research.

①主轴分析是因子分析的一种主要方法,旨在探索观测变量的方差和它们之间的相关性能用多少个少数的潜在变量来解释的方法,比主成分分析法(Principle component analysis)更能有效地探索数据内部的潜变量,简化变量的结构.对方差的解释率要更精确。

①D(o|¨)myei(2007)认为一个因子下面至少要包含两个题项。就学习环境因素而言,其下面包含两个因子是合乎统计要求的。
